What's happening at Reno County Museum

2013 Calendar of Events

  • March 1st - 2 exhibit openings!

If you love tools, you’ve got to come see the Reno County Museum’s new exhibit, Tough, Rough, & Ready: Reno County Tools A-Z! There is a little bit of everything displayed representing a wide variety of trades and occupations, from carpentry to masonry. Sharp and shiny, rusty and rugged – we’ve got the tools out and they are just waiting for you to check them out.

Americans by Choice: The Story of Immigration & Citizenship in Kansas The exhibit illustrates the paths to citizenship taken by Kansas settlers from around the world over the past 150 years, and personalizes the story of immigration and citizenship—who came, where they came from, why they came to Kansas, and why they chose to become U.S. citizens.

  • April 18th - Chalkfest
  • May 4th - Cinco de Mayo
  • July 4th - Closed
  • July 18th - Ice Cream Social
  • November 28th - Closed

The Museum has a few exhibits in the works, so this list will change as those exhibits open to the public.
