The Museum offers a wide variety of interesting educational opportunities for all ages. Special programs and tours for schools, clubs, and organizations are available.
Resource Library
Study state and local history in the Museum research library. Archival documents and photographs are available upon request. Appointments should be scheduled in advance.

its membership and community.
Museum Collections
Through exhibits and programs, the Museum uses its collections to interpret Reno County history. The collection ranges from photographs and archival materials to household items to artifacts of farming and industry. At 35,000 pieces, the collection of artifacts is substantial and still growing. |

JUST FOR KIDS...OODLEPLEX
The Oodleplex is an interactive area for children 2-12 years old. Children can play dress up and interactive activites while accompanied by an adult.

Jesse’s Corner Gift Shop
Our newly reopened gift store, Jesse’s Corner, is named for the county’s namesake Jesse Reno. The store offers a wide variety of products, crafts, and other items made right here in Reno County, as well as old-fashioned candy and items from our sister museum, the Kansas Underground Salt Museum. New items are being added all the time, so stop by to visit with our friendly staff and volunteers, who are ready to assist you in finding the perfect gift.
Membership
The Reno County Historical Society is a non-for-profit organization. We have an annual membership for each individual or business. Donations are always welcome.
